Danny Ray McGeorge

Danny Ray McGeorge, age 73, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on June 16, 1952, to the late Torry McGeorge and Irma (Wilder) McGeorge. He graduated from Fairdale High School and later went to trade school for heating and cooling. Danny worked for Turner’s Heating and Air for many years. Danny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His family was the center of his universe. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren the most. Danny brought light, laughter, and warmth to every moment. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Danny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Retha McGeorge; his parents; daughter, Thelma McGeorge; stepson, Tommy Freeman; brother, Rickie McGeorge; grandson, Jeremy Blu Freeman; brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Watkins.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Robin McGeorge-Ratcliff (William) and Rebecca Tiernan (Patrick); stepson, Mike Freeman; sister, Vickie Watkins; brother, Donnie McGeorge; grandchildren, Dylan, Nate, Brayden, Dakota, Tori, Zander, Phoenix, Levi, and Jolene; great grandchildren, Oliver, Grayson, Tanner, Waylon, Arlen, Jane, and two great grandsons on the way; great-great granddaughters, Paxton Blu and Magnolia; daughters-in-law, Connie Freeman and Robin Freeman; and many nieces and nephews.
