David Raymond Myers, Jr.

Mr. David Raymond Myers, Jr., age 78, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.  He was born on September 9, 1945, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late David Raymond Myers, Sr. and Hazel Irene Huttash Myers.

He had retired from the Whirlpool Corporation after 20 years of service and had served in the United States Navy for 22 years.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Sue Forrest.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years, Creasy Caulk Myers, having united in marriage on July 29, 1977; son, Bradley Myers (Katie); twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; stepchildren, Debbie Pendleton (Robert) and David Conn (Tiffany); brothers, Mark Anthony Myers (Teresa) and Jeffrey Lee Myers; brother-in-law, Dale Forrest, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 1-8 pm and Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
