David E. Price

David E. Price Sr., age 80, returned to his Heavenly Father September 9, 2017. Mr. Price was born in Louisville on March 5, 1937, to the late Boyce and Dorothea Price. Mr. Price was a former pastor of Brookside Wesleyan Methodist Church. He retired in 2014 after spending over 55 years in ministry.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Wanda.

Mr. Price leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Price; children; C. Renee Alley (Ricky), David E. Price Jr. (Carole), and Rebecca Forrider (James); grandchildren, Carol Hardy, Jonathan Forrider (Nicole), Crystal Forrider, Ruby Graham (Shawn), Byron Cypert, Amy Price, David E. Price III, Austin Price, and Abygayle Price; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Edward, Richard, and Emmett Price; sisters, Geraldine, Cindy, and Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; and a whole host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 14, 2017, in the chapel of Brookside Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1636 Hebron Lane, Shepherdsville, Kentucky, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Washington Kentucky. Friends may pay their respects Wednesday, September 13, from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the church, and from 12:00 pm until time of service on Thursday at the church.
