Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Moxley

Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Moxley, age 70, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 28, 2023. She was born on July 1, 1953, to the late Jesse Shipp and Doris Jean (McDonald) Shipp. Debbie was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church; she was a homemaker for her husband and her two children. She enjoyed doing various crafts, and crocheting, she liked to spend time outside in her yard and she also liked taking rides with her husband Glen on their motorcycle. But most of all Debbie will be remembered as a supportive wife, a loving mother, and simply “YaYa” to her 6 grandchildren, who she adored.  Debbie will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson Luke Moxley. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 51 years, Glen Moxley, her son, Zachary Moxley (Angela) her daughter, Nanci Dively (Daniel), six grandchildren, Zoe, Wyatt, Luke, Grace, Maggie, and Declan, she has a brother, Steve Shipp (Joyce), and a sister, Sandy Elmore, along with a host of nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends can pay their respects on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
