Deborah Lynn Eaton, age 73 of Shepherdsville, KY passed away February 20, 2024 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Deborah was born on June 5, 1950 in Louisville to the late Robert E. and Mildred Louise (Snyder) Metten. She was an administration officer for U.S. Government for 38 years, and a member of Okolona Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Eaton.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Rhonda Summers and Leslie Duncan (Travis); grandchildren, Alanna, Carissa, Braylen, Alan and Dawson; sisters, Barbara Harrison, Cindy Greenlee (Chuck), Sandra Lange and Monica Roberts (Darryl); nieces and nephews, Leroy, Jason, Aaron and Kelly; along with a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of service. Expressioin of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Hosparus of Louisville.
