Dennis W. Potts

He is survived by his brother, Ken Potts (Cindy), his partner of 27 years Joe Cole, nephews and nieces.

Dennis graduated from St Xavier HS in 1967 and attended Bellarmine College. He owned his own store, Derbytown Glassworks, where he repaired crystal glassware and created stained glass art. He was employed at Commonwealth Dodge for 25 years.

Dennis loved his family and friends and hosting celebrations on all holidays. He was best known for his Halloween and Christmas celebrations. He also loved his pet dachshunds and was a member of the Ky Dachshund Rescue Society.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.
