Donald "Donnie" Stephen Beck

Mr. Donald “Donnie” Stephen Beck, age 76, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 19, 1948, to the late Paul Beck and Ada Brewer. Donnie was a loving husband, father, Papaw, and friend.  His family was the center of his universe. He radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around him. Donnie had a lifelong passion for golf, watching sports, and riding his motorcycle. Donnie brought laughter, warmth, and authenticity to every moment. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Paul Beck (Maxine) and brother, Paul Allen Beck

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Beverly Beck; mother, Ada Brewer; daughter, Angela Gallagher (Paul); son, Tim Beck (Kelly); son, Scott Beck (Pamela); grandchildren, Trey Cook, Brittany Smith (Andrew), Noah Beck (Ansley), Taylor Bennett (Cody), Olivia Cornett (Devin), Jody Gallagher, Ryan Beck, David Gallagher, Zachary Beck, Sam Gallagher, and Andrew Beck; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Owens, Evalyn Smith, Oliver Cornett, Everett Cornett, Brielle Smith, Tyler Bennett, Avery Cornett, and Scarlett Smith; along with many other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
