Donald Wilson Mason, Sr.

Donald "Bud" Wilson Mason, Sr., age 83 of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 23, 2024.  He was born on November 2, 1940, in Bullitt County, Kentucky, to the late Claud Thomas Mason and Ethel Stillwell Mason.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 39 years, Carolyn Jeanette Styles Mason, having united in marriage on February 23, 1985; children, Donald Mason, Jr. (Susan), John Mason (Shelley), Diana Ball (Robbie) and Bill Mason (Kim); stepson, Richard Haley (Sheila); multiple grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery.   Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
