Duane Charles Lamont

Mr. Lamont was born February 22, 1958 in Louisville. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, U of L Speed School of Engineering and was proud owner and operator of MD Auto.

Among those who preceded him in death include his mother, Betty Lamont.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 9 years, Marilyn Lamont; children, Jon Lamont (Miranda), Jessica Lamont (Patrick) and Jennifer Lamont Smith (Bradley); step children, Joseph Rice (Rachel), Thomas Rice (Brittany) and Chris Rice (Brittany); 5 grandchildren, Shaun, Dylan Charles, Addison, Wrigley Charles and Lily Ann; father, Charles T. Lamont; sisters, Deborah Lamont Martini, Deana Lamont Wyngowski and Denise Lamont; half-brother, William Lamont and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy). Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Schoppenhorst with cremation to follow.
