Edward J. Klein

Mr. Edward J. Klein, age 83, of Louisville KY, joined his Heavenly Father, on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Mr. Klein was born on October 26, 1938, in Louisville, KY to the late Edward H Klein and Margaret (Amshoff) Klein. Mr. Klein was a retired painter for Local 118.

He leaves to cherish in his memory, his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara “Bobbie” (Fortwengler) Klein; children, Ronald Klein (Sherry), Greg Klein (Catherine), Kathy Porter (Marcus) and Karen Schott (Bill); Grandchildren, Tiffany (David), Erin, Brittany (Kris), Matt, Haley, and Ally; Great-grandchildren, Emilee, Cody, Averi, Alaina, Jace, Braxton, and Saylor; and siblings, Marty Klein and Marie Lingross, Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 12:00 pm. until 8:00 pm. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) A Prayer Service will be conducted at 7pm, Monday, November 15, 2021, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, November 16,2021 at 10:30 am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219.
