Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Goodman, age 80, of Fairdale, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Mrs. Goodman was born in Louisville, KY on July 16, 1937 to the late Elmer and Jane Willis. She was a member of Okolona General Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Elbert L. Goodman; son, Danny L. Goodman and her brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Joy Phelps (Brad), Sandra Brotherton (Mike), Kevin Goodman (Holly) and Vicky Swift (Doug); daughter- in- law, Sheila Goodman; grandchildren, Cory, Sara, Patrick, Stuart, Jarrett, Nathaniel and Kellen; great grandchildren, Ava, Lilly, Nora, Colton and Addie; 6 brothers and sisters and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
