Florence M Ernst

Florence Lanham Ernst, age 95, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born in Louisville, on Saturday, September 27, 1930, to the late Everett and Josephine Lanham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ernst. She was a catholic by faith and a member of St. Therese and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church. Florence always had a smile on her face even within her last moments. Her love for her animals will be a memory that the family will cherish. The warmness she brought into the lives of others will be carried on. She was a loving mom, grandma, and great grandma, that will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Hoover; grandchildren Ashley Hoover (Eric), Chad Hoover, and Jeremy Hoover (Christy); great grandchildren; Justin Hoover (Shanaia), Alexis Hoover, Jerek Hoover, Jase Hoover, Noah Frederick, and Shelby Bloomer along with a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, April 20, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy, with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 9am to 8pm.
