Fred Andrew Hartman

Mr. Fred A. Hartman, age 70, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on October 28, 2017. Mr. Hartman was a transitional liaison with Jefferson County Public Schools. He was Catholic by faith and a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Hartman was a mason with the Harry R. Kendall Masonic Lodge #750. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Raymond and Mary Hartman; wife, Darline Lucas Hartman; brother, Kenneth Hartman; and sister, MaryAnn Mann. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Venus Marcum (Eric); grandsons, Andrew and Tyler Marcum; brother, Richard Hartman (Judy); and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1-8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
