Glenn Richard Smith II

Mr. Glenn Richard Smith II, age 48, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was born on March 21, 1973 to Beverly Wakefield in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Smith II was a truck driver for Gary A Johnson Trucking Company. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Shepherdsville. Mr. Smith II is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kitty and Elmer Thompson; father-in-law, Leo Hoke; brother-in-law, Gary Hoke; and sister-in-law, Lois Smiley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Anna (Hoke) Smith; daughter, Emmalyn McKinney; son, Dawson Smith; granddaughter, Reagan Pierce; mother; Beverly Wakefield (Walter); half-sister, Sarah Smith (James); mother-in-law, Anna Hoke; brothers-in-law, Larry Hoke, Jerry Hoke (Darla), Ryland Hoke Jr (Kelly); sisters-in-law, Jamie Marshall (Barney), Donna Spalding (Charles), Dinah Hoke; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd) with burial at Hudson Cemetery in Hudson, Kentucky (Breckenridge Co.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
