Harold Scott

Mr. Harold Scott, 88, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, September 11, 2017. He was a member and past District Deputy Grand Master for Okolona Lodge No. 853 F&AM and a deacon at Little Flock Baptist Church. Mr. Scott was employed at Bell South for over 37 years and he was a Game Warden at Fort Knox. Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Allen Scott and Lois Keller Scott Hornback; stepfather, Solan Hornback; brothers, Lester Scott and Richard Bruce; stepbrothers, Marvin and Frank Hornback and daughter, Vicky Powell. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 68 years, Helen Miller Scott; daughter, Becky Young (Bill); grandchildren, Scott Young (Terri), Christopher Powell (Tricia), Rachelle Young, Ashley Hembree (Ryan), Erica Robards (Jeff), Kyle Young (Lindsey); 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm Friday, September 15, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) and Friday from 10am until the time of the funeral service.
