Mrs. Mingus was born in Breckinridge County, Kentucky to the late Arthur Paul and Mary Lee Poole Beauchamp. She was a retiree of Capital Holding, a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 153 and Immanuel Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Carl Denver Mingus; parents and sister, Lynda Thornhill.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Beverly Gayle Bledsoe, Ronald Carl Mingus (Nardina), Steven Wayne Mingus and Michael Keith Mingus (Lee Ann); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and brother, Roy Thomas Beauchamp.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Tuesday at Schoppenhorst.
