James Douglas Boyd

Mr. James Douglas Boyd, age 59, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was born on March 9, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Doris Boyd; along with a brother, Michael Boyd.

James was an Avid golfer. A motorcycle enthusiast and a Louisville Cardinal fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Karen Boyd; his children, James Boyd Jr., Justin Boyd (Trish) and Kristen Boyd (Jaime); his stepson, Kevin Taylor Jr. (Jessica); his siblings, Bill Boyd (June), Denise Dotson (David), Jean Marie McMakin and David Boyd (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Rowan, Ari, Eva, Zuri, Jackson and Kevin Taylor III; his great grandson, Roman; along with a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be at 12 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Hwy Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 5pm until 8pm and on Saturday at 10am until time of service.
