James Russell Brewer

James Russell Brewer age 77 of Fairdale returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 20, 2015 with family by his side. Among those whom preceded him in death are his parents Walter and Louetta Brewer. Mr. Brewer leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years Linda (Sheeley) Brewer; sons, Tony Brewer, James "Bird" Brewer (Tammy); daughter, Teri Riggs; brothers, Paul, Neville, Gerald, Arlie Brewer; sisters, Ruby Howlette, Barbara Hartledge, Rita Eddington, Vickie Brown, Eraline Tucker; grandchildren, Romme Davis (Lindsay, Chrystal Davis, Courtney Brewer, Kyle Brewer, Brennan Brewer, Cassidy Brewer; great grandchildren, Jesse, Keelin, Skylar, Emmary and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Monday in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday at Schoppenhorst.
