James "Jim" Michael Hall

Mr. James “Jim” Michael Hall, age 86, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1937 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Earl and Geneva Hall. Mr. Hall worked as an agent for Allstate Insurance Company. He was a member St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a United States Navy veteran. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Denny Hall, Wayne Hall; sisters, Bettie Volk and Judy Felts.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Hall; son, Michael Hall (Teri); daughters, Cindy Frohlich (Tom), Donna Carroll (Keith), Karen Graman (Jeff); 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Pat Hall (Eva), Kenny Hall (Brenda); sister-in-law, Geri Hall; brother-in-law, Bob Volk; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
