James Lewis Thomason, age 84, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 28, 2020. James was born in Lyon County, Kentucky on September 1, 1936 to the late Ray and Louise Thomason. Mr. Thomason was a member of the Teamsters Union #236 and attended Okolona Church of Christ. James drove a truck for over 40 years, and always let everyone know that “He backed more miles than most had driven forward.” He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Kathryn Thomason, Jewell Hodgson, Carolyn Millikan. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce Thomason; children, Terri Neely (Tony) and Todd Thomason (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Grace Johnson (Wes), Emma Thomason, and Ellie Thomason; nieces, Debbie Ellis and Brenda Brown; nephew, Jackie Millikan (Shannon); and a host of other family and friends.
