Mrs. Jean Antoinette Grant

Ms. Jean A. Grant, age 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on October 7, 1954, to the late William Smith and Beverly Smith. Jean worked in customer service for most of her life, she loved to make people laugh and smile. Jean also loved holidays with Christmas being her favorite of all. She would go over the top with decorating, giving presents, and cooking. “One of Jean's favorite things to do on a beautiful day, was riding motorcycle's and traveling with her significant other, Mike Myers, whom she spent many years by his side.

Jean loved shopping at Flea Markets, Yard Sales, Antique Malls, you name it she was there. However, most of all Jean loved being a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and a “Country Girl”. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by parents, and grandparents.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children Charles Smith (April), Melissa Kamber, grandchildren Shelby Kamber, Tyler Smith, Jackson Smith, and Jacob Smith, her significant other Mike Meyers, brother Billy Smith (Laura), sisters Judy Ellis (Larry), Jackie Sinegra, Bobbi Sue Schoenbaechler, along with nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). The Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst with burial to follow at Penn Run Cemetery.
