Jerry Louis Jones

Mr. Jerry Louis Jones, age 76, of Brooks, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 7, 2022.  He was born on May 19, 1945 on the Fort Knox Reservation to the late Chester Lee Jones and Mary Lucy (Noe) Jones. Mr. Jones worked as a farmer and in construction by trade and was Veteran of the United States Army where he was a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 42 years, Rita Jones; son, Roger Hilton (Gina); daughter, Alysha Jones (Joe); grandchildren, Jazmine Heckman, Traigan Hilton, Bryson Jones, Rhys Hilton, Zeke Hilton, Haeberlin Hilton, Joey Heckman, MaKenzie Heckman, Baby Hilton on the way; sister, Mildred “Sis” Fenwick; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and extremely close friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 11, 2022 in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S. Buckman St. Shepherdsville, KY 40165). Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 11:00am until 8:00pm and again on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00 Noon.
