Jo Ann Higgins

Jo Ann Higgins, age 64, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 29, 2022.  She worked for Stewart Pawn Shop and was of the Catholic faith. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 27, 1958, to the late Ransom and Sylvia Just Wilkerson. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George and Mike Dailey, Junior and Doug Wilkerson. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Carl Dean Higgins, Sr.; children, Amanda Higgins and Carl Dean Higgins, Jr. (Morgan); grandchild, Bryson Dean Higgins; sisters, Patti Thompson (John) and Cathy Hasken (Don); sisters-in-law, Terri and Carol Wilkerson; and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
