JoAnn H. Carpenter

Mrs. JoAnn Carpenter, age 75, of Millwood, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 28, 1947, to the late Josephine Henderson. Mrs. Carpenter retired from Jones Plastics after 25 years of service, she enjoyed her fur babies, sitting on her porch, Gatlinburg Tennessee, and the mountains. Her favorite thing was to watch crime shows like Law and Order and CSI, she really enjoyed them, but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandbabies. JoAnn will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Larry Gordon Carpenter, her parents, and her mother in law Mildred Elizabeth Wermuth who was like a mother to her.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters Rae Carpenter (Bill), Jolene Carpenter (Doug), Kelly Wyland (Jeremy), one son Larry Wayne Carpenter (Ramiza), grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Lauren), Megan Morris (Justin), Chris Carpenter (Tasha), Jason Wyland (Kira), Erica Carpenter (Nick), Tara Carpenter (Caleb), Amber Carpenter (Bentley), Jasmine King, Damon King, Kelsey Castor (Zachary), Cody Wyland, Brianna Carpenter (Dakota), Riehana Carpenter, Haana Carpenter, four sisters Linda, Carolyn, Ditty, Susie, one brother Mikey, 15 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Monday, December 19, 2022, at 12:00 noon. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday December 18, 2022, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. And again, Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
