After graduating from DuPont Manual High School in the class of 1965, David went to work for Durkee Foods for many years, later retiring from Kroger Company in 2010. He served in the Army for 2 years; one was in the Vietnam War. He was so proud to be a veteran from that war. He loved meeting other veterans, stopping and talking for a while.
Even more important to David in life was his beloved family. He spent 55 years of marriage to Janice, the love of his life. He was a dedicated loving and supporting father to his children, Scott and Eric, and a good kind man to his many friends and to his church family at Highview Baptist Church.
David was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed taking his Monte Carlos to car shows and being with his many friends. He loved telling stories about things in his life and was quite a prankster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Eleanor Lucille Hall, and brother, Tim Hall.
David is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice; children, Scott and Eric; and many other beloved family members and close friends.
