John Fong

John C. Fong, age 59, of Taylorsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on February 22, 2025. John was born on September 18,1965, in Taiping Malaysia, to the late Peter Fong and Woon Yoke Lan. 

John was a member at LaGrange Baptist Church. He was a firm believer in Christ and enjoyed sharing the gospel with everyone he encountered. John retired from UPS, where he worked as an aircraft dispatcher. He was a member of the Louisville Bike Club and was an avid cyclist.  John loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.

John’s parents preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 21 years, Kim Fong; daughters, Gabrielle Fong and Olivia Fong; brother, Michael Fong (Yi Lin); sister, June Fong (Kong); nephews, Christopher, Brandon and Hayden; niece Aerin; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 East at 123 Winning Colors Drive) with burial to follow at Kings Church Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3pm until 8pm and on Saturday from 10am until time of the service at the funeral home.
