Johnny Armsted Ferguson

Mr. Johnny Armsted Ferguson, Sr., age 77, of Taylorsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, October 25, 2021. Mr. Ferguson was born in Shepherdsville, KY on May 29, 1944 to the late Samuel Alonzo Ferguson and Erma Irene Ferguson.

His beloved wife, Sherley Ferguson preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Johnny Ferguson, Jr. (Deana), David Reese Ferguson and Bobby Ferguson (Lisa); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Ferguson (Mary Ellen) and Jimmy Ferguson (Linda); sister, Betsy Neil (Jeff); two dear neighbors, Dr. Tom Crain and Kelly Crews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Valley Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
