Johnny Beryl Hart, Sr.

Mr. Johnny Beryl Hart, Age 87, of Mt. Washington, Ky returned to his Heavenly Father, on August 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Austin, Texas on May 28, 1938, to the late Dow Cephas Hart and Nannie (Monhollen) Hart. Johnny retired from Naval Ordnance after 37 years of service, he was a 66-year member of Highview Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was also partners with his son at J.B. Hart Builders, building numerous homes in Jefferson, Bullitt and surrounding counties for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and reaping the rewards of his catch, hosting numerous fish fries at his home. He was a loving husband, dad, and PawPaw. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Emmett, Eddie, and Lonnie Hart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 69 years, Wiladene Hart; daughter Sherry W. Fraley (Larry), daughter Kimberly Bischoff (Melvin), son Johnny Beryl Hart Jr.,(Kathy), daughter Judith Elaine White (Kenny), 4 grandchildren Christina Muschany (Doug), Alex Biddle (Philip), Madison Becton (Hunter), Vivian White, 5 Great-grandchildren Sydney, Kalley, Waylon, Asher, Zoey, along with numerous step grandchildren, great, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025, at 12 noon in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery at the corner of Bardstown Road and Highway 44. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the fu
