Larry Clifton Moore

Mr. Larry Moore, age 72, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on October 22, 2019.   Mr. Moore was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 25, 1947 to the late Leonard and Thelma (Vandagriff) Moore.  He was an Army veteran and Railroad Carman for L & N / CSX railroad. Mr. Moore served on the Board of Trustees and was a volunteer firefighter for Camp Taylor Fire Department for about 30 years. Mr. Moore was a man of many talents. He was a hard-working man and because he loved working, he had the opportunity during his lifetime to do many things.  Mr. Moore will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his cherished fur-baby, Kneepad.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Kenneth “Scott” Moore, Brian T. Moore (Wendy), Stacey Mullins (Jason), Kimberly Whitaker (Jason) and Tiffany Renfro (Charles); life partner, Becky (Grubs) Moore; grandchildren, Brittney and Justin Moore, Haley and Dalton Mullins, Mikayla Whitaker, Lyndsie Moore and Brooklynne Renfro; great granddaughter, Annsleigh Mullins; brother, Michael Moore; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 3 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
