Larry Wayne Warren, Sr.

Mr. Larry Wayne Warren, Sr., age 72, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was born on June 27, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Otis and Geneva Leona (Dennison) Warren. Mr. Warren was a member of Knopp Avenue Holy Baptist Church in Shepherdsville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Evon Warren; son, Larry Wayne Warren, Jr.; and brother, Jerry Warren.

Larry was a man who enjoyed card tricks and working puzzles. He loved gardening flowers and making sure they stayed nice. In his younger years, Larry loved playing sports. His favorites were baseball and basketball. Larry was an avid UofL fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Angela McIntyre (Christopher); grandchildren, Megan and Massyn; sister, Sherry Raley; brother, Terry Warren; daughter-in-law, Amanda Warren; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Raley) Clark; father-in-law, Harold Raley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 12:00 pm in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
