Leon David "Dave" Weber

Mr. Leon David "Dave" Weber Jr., age 78, of Cox's Creek returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Mr. Weber was born on September 18, 1938. He had a deep faith in God and depended on Him throughout his life, beginning with his fall from a barn loft at an early age resulting in epilepsy until his passing after suffering a broken hip. Dave had a full life and many careers and knew a host of people. You only had to sit with him a few minutes to know that. He never lost his trust in the Lord to take care of him throughout life's struggles. He thanked God every day for blessing him with a wife and family who loved him unconditionally. Dave's desire and hope was for peace and happiness for everyone.

He is preceded in death by many loved ones including his mother, Martha Lunette Weber and father, Leon David Weber Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons and their children, his siblings; his wife of 15 years, Martha Lee Weber and her children; his grandchildren, great grandchildren who became his family and loved and cherish him; his beloved dog, Polly and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
