Linda Kay Powell

Linda Kay Powell, 65, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 31, 2016. Mrs. Powell was cafeteria manager at Bullitt Central High School. Among those that have preceded her include her father, Owen Hurt; and siblings, Joyce Edwards, Kitty Puckett, Jessie Hurt, Larry Fugate. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Hubert Mitch Powell; sons, Benjamin Powell, Owen Powell, Joshua Powell (Mary Beth); mother, Christine Hurt; grandchildren, Lea, Joseph, Connor, Matthew, Jarod, Cameron, Caleb, Anastasia, Felicity; and siblings, Patricia Estep, Clara Spencer, Reyno Hurt, Eva Maggard.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
