Lou Ann Gardner

Mrs. Lou Ann Gardner, age 84 of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on October 1, 2018. Mrs. Gardner was born on November 24, 1933 in Tennesee to the late Harold and Ruth (Meadows) Foster. She was known for her generosity, compassion and loving lifestyle. She was lovingly called Nanny by her grandchildren and will be remembered at Christmas for her delicious Chicken and Dumplings.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Crumpton; brothers, Robert Foster, James Foster; and sister, Jane Mahoney.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Chuck Crumpton, David Crumpton (Brenda), Phil Crumpton (Angela); grandchildren, Ashley Randall (Bryan), Chloe Crumpton; siblings, Patrick Foster; Nancy McDaniel; great grandchildren, Brailey and Brensyn Randall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Mt Holly Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Friday 10:00 am till time of service at the funeral home.
