Lucille Jeanette Hill

Mrs. Lucille Jeanette Hill, age 81, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Mrs. Hill was born in Leitchfield, KY on January 31, 1942 to the late Jess Hazelwood and Nellie Dehart Hazelwood and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #552. She was a cherished mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Bankhead Hill; grandchildren, CJ Hill and Deanna; stepchildren, Jenny Lynn Hill and David Hill and brothers, Shelby Hazelwood, Cecil Hazelwood and Jr. Hazelwood preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jason Hill (Elizabeth), Marion Arlis Hill (Tammy), Anthony Hill, Randall Hill (Angie), Jimmy Roberts (Teri) and Regina Ousley (Roy); grandchildren, Mason, Emily (Brandon), Kelsi, Jesse (Leslie), Harper, Amanda, Ashley, Aaron, Carrie, Michelle, Staci, Caroline, Lauren, Will, Austin, Alex, Andrew and Stephanie; great- grandchildren, Banks, Lakelyn, Hayden, Brandon, Aurora, Raena, Kolten, Tenley, Josh, Susie, Jason, Billie, Austin and Braken; sister, Henrietta Poteet and stepdaughter, Mary Francis Pena and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks. Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm (with Order of the Eastern Star service at 6:00 pm). Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of her service Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
