Lucy A. Embry

Lucy Ann Embry, age 84, of the Iroquois Area in Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with loving family by her side. She was born on July 8, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward C. and Lilly (Hampton) Adcock. Lucy was a small lady with a giant personality. She was considered a “Prayer Warrior” to anyone who needed her help and prayers. She was very knowledgeable of the Bible and studied it often. Lucy loved to cook and to play Scrabble. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, is what Lucy held most dear to her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Adcock and her sisters, Jean Greathouse and Marie Davis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Paula Embry, Donna Brown, Veronica Hicks (Kelly), Rhonda McGrath (Ronnie), Sonya Morgan and Cristi Roblero (Ausencio); grandchildren, Marci, Mark, Toni, Sarah, Jackie, Israel, Jacob, Angel, Dylan, Juan, Michael, Alex, Sydney, Frankie, Jordan, Julian, Justin and Joseph; numerous great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert Adcock; sister, Sue Conley; niece, Vickie Carter and a host of other dear nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Direct interment will be conducted on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Brookland Cemetery.
