Phil was a loving father and grandfather. He had enjoyed a long successful career with KC Electronics and Satco Inc.
Phil had been a league bowler, and enjoyed his hunting, fishing and family camping trips.
Phil was born in Louisville KY on November 25, 1959 to Ira S. Mudd and Ruby E. (Tomes) Mudd. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Sherman (Dwayne) Mudd and Harold Mudd, Sr.
Phil leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Blake Mudd and Lyndell Mudd, Jr.; grandchildren, Hunter Mudd and Keaston Mudd; siblings, Donella Blain (Denny), Leonard Mudd, Michael Mudd, Sr (Debbie), Marsha Martin (Jeff); host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; Theresa Owens and the friends and neighbors who knew him.
Phil will be greatly missed by everyone.
A funeral service to celebrate Phil’s life will be conducted at 10:00 am EST on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) in Shepherdsville, with interment to follow at Wilson Cemetery (Caneyville KY) at 12:30 pm EST (11:30 am CST). Visitation is scheduled Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
