Mary Frances Hodge

Mrs. Mary Frances Hodge, age 76 of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Mrs. Hodge was born October 5, 1941 to the late Mr. Gene and Wilma (Taylor) Bishop. She was a Bullitt County bus driver who retired with 26 years of service. She will be remembered as a keeper of secrets, a nurturing person and a wonderful person to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Wallace Hodge; her parents; and a brother, George Bishop.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tom Hodge (Angie), Johni Abshire, George Hodge (Heather), Jody Hodge (Patsy); 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Jeannie Bishop; and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 9:00 am till 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 till time of service.
