Mary A. (Sweeney) Snyder

Mrs. Mary A. (Sweeney) Snyder, age 84, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 18,2024 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thomas Sweeney and Helen (Kozak) Sweeney on December 24, 1939. Mrs. Snyder was a retired clerk working at a grocery store and for Dollar General Store. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helena Sweeney and daughter, Janet Barker. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Wayne Snyder; children, Wayne Snyder Jr., Debbie Snyder, Darrell Snyder, and Melissa Hack; and numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25,2024 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Hwy 44 E at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, January 25,2024 from 12:00pm until the service time of 2:00pm
