Mary H. Trimble

Ms. Mary H. Trimble, age 70, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Ms. Trimble was born in Lexington, KY on March 10, 1955 to the late Jo Ann Trimble and Howard A. Trimble.

She was a skillful handyperson who could fix just about anything. Her spunky, playful personality and sense of humor brought light into everyday moments, and she had a special love for animals and cheering on the University of Kentucky. Above all, she was deeply loved by her family, who were the center of her world. Her warmth, talent, and joyful personality will be remembered always.

In addition to her parents, her infant brother, Howard A. Trimble Jr. preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Leann Brooks (Tom) and Christina Lafever; grandchildren, Clay Drybrough (Jill), Megan Frailey (Cody), Patrick Sims, Christian Sims (Laura), Alicia Carlson (Devon), Emma Brooks, Tommy Brooks III, Angie Hill (Ben) and Sheila Brooks; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Christian, Zane, Zavior, Zephyr, Hayden, Aurora, Ariana, Elizabeth, Callum, Liliana, Leonidas, Alohna, Oliver, Anna, Ezra, Nora and Iris; sister, Sarah Curry; nieces, Shannon Pearman and Elizabeth Bohn (Phil); aunt, Louise Goldey and a host of cousins and other family and friends.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow.
