Michael David Mitchell

Mr. Michael David Mitchell, age 62, of Fairdale, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born to Teresa (O’Bryan) Mitchell and the late Charles Mitchell on July 6, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the Navy and worked for Dynacraft. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Mitchell; brother, Charles A Mitchell; sister, Laura Baker; and nephew, Ryan A Mitchell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Teresa Mitchell; wife, Angela (Riggs) Mitchell; sons, Benjamin Mitchell (Candice), Charles Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Steven Burton, Cory Wise; daughter, Heather Wise; 5 sisters, Carla Johnson (Dave), Theresa Weppler (Billy), Mary Peterman (Steve), Sharon Snyder (Chris), Janice Cash (Cris); 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Cheyenne, Destiny and Zachary.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church (4335 Hazelwood Ave. Louisville, Kentucky 40215). Family and friends may pay their respect on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.
