Mrs. Mildred M. Wright Pierce, age 75, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2016. Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker and a member of Peniel Missionary Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Dewey and Loraine Wright; son, Eddie Pierce; and sister, Wilma Rasnake. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 58 years, James Carlos Pierce; children, Jim Pierce and Vernon Pierce (Judy); grandchildren, Derrick and Lauren; great-granddaughter, Mia; and sister, Judy Sanders (Jerry).
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with entombment in Hebron Cemetery.
