Mr. Nelson “Jerry” Gerald Davis, age 74, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Mr. Davis was born in Louisville, KY on May 12, 1944 to the late Nelson and Loretta Davis.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his brother, Thomas Wayne Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Jerry Wayne Davis, Steve Davis and Kevin Cole; his stepsons, William Nathan Cole and Christopher Cole; several grandchildren; his sisters, Beverly Schroader and Karen Carnes (Michael) and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
