Pamela "Pam" Jean Murphy

Mrs. Pamela Jean Murphy, age 71, of Louisville, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, with her family by her side.  Pamela was born on July 28, 1951, to the late Herbert Hargett and Marion “Hurlbut” in Springfield, Ohio. She was a clerical worker over the years, she belonged to St. Matthews Apostolic Church, was a loving wife of 24 years to her husband Larry, she enjoyed Gardening and planting beautiful flowers, liked antiques especially glass ware. Pam was known to be a very organized person and kept a lovely home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Hargett, and sister Cathy Webb.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Larry T. Murphy, her son Adrian Wheeler (Staicee), bonus sons, Michael Murphy (Rachel), and David Murphy (Bobbi Jo), seven grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alex, Dawson, Dalton, Hannah, Christian, and Hope, along with nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 28, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at (Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home) at 4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday November 27, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
