Penny Gail Davis Hester

Penny Gail Davis Hester, age 53, of Brooks, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 29, 2023.   She was born in Jefferson County, KY on January 30, 1970, to the late Glen Edward Davis and Judy Delores Underwood Davis.

She was a kindergarten teacher at Micah Christian School and a devoted member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 20 years, Dalyn Royce Hester, having united in marriage on September 27, 2003; son, Andrew Royce Hester; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Hester; two sisters, Cathy Benningfield (Tim) and Rhonda Jewell (Jason) and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
