Rebecca June Johnson

Mrs. Rebecca June Johnson, age 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Rebecca was born on June 28, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Stoner and Vesta (Montgomery) Stoner. She worked many years for Kroger Offices in the meat purchasing department, and later for the Presbyterian Churches. Rebecca enjoyed all kinds of crafting, she enjoyed girl time with sisters-in-laws, her fur babies “dog Molly, and cat Millie”, however the most important thing to her was her beloved husband Bob who she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Robert “Bob” Johnson, brother Doug Stoner.

She leaves to cherish her two brothers David Stoner (Laura), Mark Stoner (Gina), three nephews Andrew Stoner, Logan Stoner, and Simon Stoner, two nieces Margie Stoner and Elizabeth Vincent (Chase), sister-in-law Linda Stoner along with a host of cousins and other dear family and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) cremation was chosen. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
