Richard Reeder Gardner age 83 was born May 28, 1930 to the late Everett F. and Anna Lee Hobson Gardner and returned to his Heavenly Father March 14, 2014. Mr. Gardner was a retired retail grocery manager and also an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He leaves to cherish his memory his care giver, Pam Greene; daughter, Thersa Gardner; step daughters, Denise Minor, Georgianna and Donna Miller; step sons, Wayne and Leon Miller; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 12 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
