Robert Lee Farmer

Mr. Robert Lee Farmer, age 96, of Zoneton returned to his Heavenly Father on March 23, 2018. Mr. farmer retired from the Logan Company after 48 years of service. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and a former member of Thixton Lane Baptist Church. Mr. Farmer was a U.S. Navy veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Charles and Oda (Wheeler) Farmer; and three brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 73 years, Mary Belle (Gentry) Farmer; children, Bob Farmer (Debra) and Rhonda Welch (Roy); grandsons, Mark Farmer (Angela), Ross Farmer (Rachel) and Terry Cox; great-grandchildren, Noah and Kate; and sister, Tilly Wood.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday, March 30, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Highland Memory Gardens.
