Robert Wyatt Richardson

Mr. Robert W. Richardson, age 77, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.   Mr. Richardson was born in Louisville, KY on July 17, 1946, to the late Jesse Richardson and Josephine Ryan Richardson.

He served in the United States Army 9th Infantry Division and served in Vietnam.  He was retired from the United States Postal Service and a retired Master Sergeant with the Kentucky Air National Guard.  He was a member of the Okolona VFW Post #8639 and the Bravo Dance Studio family since 2007.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Richardson; brother-in-law, Frankie Novobilski; sister-in-law, Sandy Novobilski.

He leaves to cherish his memory his childhood sweet heart and loving wife of 54 years, Pat Richardson; daughters, Katina Lynch (Matt Kraft), Robin Sanders (Jamey Sanders); grandchildren, Gabrielle Lynch (Brandon), Kaitlin Lynch, Sumer Burkhead (Joe), and Alex Burkhead (Megan); great grandchild; Lukas Wyatt Warren; sisters, Sylvia Downs, Betty Azzara (Michael), Patty Morrison (Jim); brother, Jimmy Richardson (Sharon); sister-in-law, Sandy Novobilski; brothers-in-law, Joey Novobilski, Jimmy Novobilski and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.  Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday and from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
