Rosemary McGuffin

Rosemary McGuffin, age 78, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 26, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1947, in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Edward and Helen (Willis) McKinney. Rosemary never met a stranger. She was known as mom and grandma to everyone she knew. She was an avid reader, having thousands of books she enjoyed. Gardening, visiting flea markets and antique shops were some of her favorite things to do in her spare time. Her family fondly remembers her love of watching the program, Jeopardy. They knew when Jeopardy was on not to call and interrupt her. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, is what Rosemary held most dear to her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne McGuffin, Sr.; sister, Marilyn Noel; nephew, Trent Noel; best friend, Kathy McGuffin and her beloved fur-baby, Daisy Faye.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Henson; daughters, Laura Griffin (Scott) and Angela Henson; grandchildren, Casey Henson (Chris Johnston), Brianna Hall (Damon), Dallas Henson, Jenna Stinson, Shay Henson (Kaitlyn) and Clay Griffin; great-grandchildren, Addisyn Hall, Jack Henson, Finn Henson, Theodore Henson and Layton Jackson; brother, Mike McKinney (Bonnie); sister Anne Leslie Stephens (Junior) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
