Roy Bruner

Mr. Roy L. Bruner Jr., age 73, of Homosassa, Florida passed away on November 26, 2014 in Brooksville, FL. Mr. Burner was born March 31, 1941 in Marion County, IN, the only child of the late Alice (Skiff) and Roy L. Bruner, Sr. Mr. Bruner was a 14 year Navy veteran. He worked for the Ford Motor Company, retiring after 43 years of service. He moved to Homosassa, Florida from Louisville, KY in 1999. Mr. Bruner was a Kentucky Colonel and loved the water, boating and motorcycles. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 33 years, Linda Bruner, son, Roy L. "Trey" (Courtney) Bruner, III, 2 daughters, Robin Renee (Rick) Chaffee and Tanya Roberts (Paul) Krewson and 7 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance). Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
